This Week on the Behance Network

Here’s a look at some of the most appreciated projects and Creative Professionals of the week on Behance.net…

Marvel Minimalist Posters

Most “minimalist redesigns” on Behance get a good amount of attention, but these Minimal Marvel Posters, recreating the comic posters with just one pivotal representative image, got a whopping 97,000 views since last week. Also, we love this story about a dad quizzing his son on which comics the posters corresponded to.

Cities
After much curious speculation amongst users, the artist revealed that this stunning, textured pieces were made using “heavy photoshop manipulation and drawing.” Overwhelming in their detail, we could get lost in these digital “cities.”

Donn Koh
This is not Koh’s first appearance on the “most appreciated” list (his Origami Sharpener and Microsoft Touch Mouse were very popular), but this week, it was his Renew Solar Battery Charger that caught the eye of community. He claims that “many people are subconsciously reluctant to use battery chargers,” and then proposed a design solution to fix this.

MaricorMaricar
This Australian illustrator/animator charmed Behancers this week with her “Turns of Speech and Figures of Phrase” project. It’s inspired by lyrics misread and mixed up – all pieces are hand embroidered and feature lyrics borrowed from bands like Blondie and Menomena. I wish these were for sale!
