ProSite launched with the ability to display Hi-Def images in a lightbox – up until now, Behance has always displayed 600 pixel images, so we’re happy to now offer you the option to showcase your larger images in all their hi-def glory.
This week, we took it a step further and are now offering a SLIDESHOW option. Now, you can click through a project’s hi-def images within the lightbox.

How do I upload hi-def images?
When you upload work to Behance, we automatically store your full-sized images, so if they’re larger than 600 pixels, you’ll automatically be able to open these images, full-sized, by clicking on them in your project. We’re been storing full-sized imagines since December 2010, so if you have a project older than this, you will have to re-upload your images into your project in order to see them full sized.
When I upload an image to a project, the image is scaled down to a default of 600px wide. Then, I don’t have the ability click to enlarge the image. Can someone help me figure out what I’m doing wrong?

it’s true for behance blog but on prosite it works.
i uploaded some pictures at 800px, they are automatically stored at 600px. On my prosite, i can enlarge the image but there is no slideshow option. On behance blog, i even can’t enlarge picture .

Hey guys, on Behance they WILL scale down to 600 px, but if you’re a ProSite subscriber, you’ll notice that you’ll see the enlarger on Behance, and on ProSite as well (and on ProSite you can display the images at their full size).
The trick is that you MUST have a published ProSite for this feature to be activated.
I really like the idea of having a slideshow on ProSite. I miss this option a lot. I’d prefer to have a slideshow with my pictures then the current scrolling Blog layout.
But with this full size lightbox slideshow, the images are getting way too big to display properly on a normal screen.
I really don’t get it… shouldn’t the lightbox actually automatically fit to screen size?
Also I’m still missing a possibility to make ProSite truly responsive!
I’m hoping you’re working on some updates. ProSite is a great tool – but it could use a bit of improvement…
