Blog Integration is now on ProSite

Seamlessly integrate your WordPress or Tumblr content into your ProSite using the new blog integration tool!

To import your blog, just go to Pages and select “Blog” from the drop down. You’ll be able to name this page whatever you’d like.

Next, choose WordPress or Tumblr.

After the jump, step-by-step instructions on adding your Tumblr or WordPress.

If you’re importing Tumblr: Just enter your Tumblr username and click “Confirm.” Once you update your live site in the Publish tab, your Tumblr content will be accessible in your navigation.

If you’re importing WordPress: First log into your WordPress account and make sure Full Text is enabled in your RSS feed. You’ll find this option in the Settings under the Reading section.

Once you’ve enabled Full Text, just add a blog page in the Pages tab and select WordPress, then enter your RSS URL and click confirm.

Many users have a RSS button on their WordPress blog already where they can grab this URL, but if you’re having trouble finding yours, try adding /feed/ or /?feed=rss to the end of your blog url.

Example: yourdomain.com –> yourdomain.com/feed/ or yourdomain.com/?feed=rss

Once you update your live site in the Publish tab, your WordPress content will be accessible in your navigation.

So good. I just signed up for Prosite and blog integration was my first concern.

My next question is, can I make Prosite work with my webfonts.fonts.com subscription?

Is there a way of incorporating more than just the posts?
    Sidebar widgets for example?

The problem I’m having is that even though I’m using the “more” tag in my posts on wordpress so that the entire post doesn’t show up on the main page, my prosite doesn’t reflect this. On my prosite, each post is displayed in its entirety… which means endless scrolling… Is there any way I can show only a summary of the content? I really don’t want to resort to only showing the post titles on my prosite.

    Thanks
