Barcelona, Spain: Rodolfo Biglie

Rodolfo believes that creativity is a consequence of the right attitude. He works for Oglivy Mather as a Creative Director, leading a team of more than 20 on creative projects for clients including Vodafone, Kraft, Nokia, and The Czech National Theater. Much of his creative brainpower is focused on concept development and strategies for online projects. He lives with his family in Barcelona.

Montreal, Canada: Steve Azoulay

Steve has been in contact with his computer since he was 10, sitting with his dad to learn c++ and MS-DOS at this young age. By 1995, he was online, and has worked in the tech industry ever since. He got his degree as a network administrator a few years ago, and now works at  Digital Light Media. At work, Steve manages web projects and is very involved in iPad app development.

Los Angeles, USA: Jimmy Moss

Jimmy  Moss is a professor at the Department of Art at Cal State L.A., and President of AIGIA Los Angeles. He’s a graduate of RISD and Yale School of Art, and has been a visiting critic, curator, or lecturer throughout California.  He’s interested in the role of design in public spaces and in service to movements of social change. Recently, Jimmy’s been fascinated by the usage of the English language typography in China.

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia: Muid Latif

Muid first touched Photoshop when it was only version 3.0 (released in ’94). His creative work is influenced by oriental elements and South East Asian culture. He has been working in the web advertising industry for over 10 years, and currently practices both creative & new media development and active as a digital artist. He has a special focus on branding creative work. On the side, Muid likes to perform freestyle contemporary jazz and hip-hop.

São Paulo, Brazil: Felipe Tofani

Felipe’s design career began at age 11, when his dad gave him a branding book filled with colorful logos and short texts about visual identity. Felipe used to run a tattoo shop, and didn’t get back into design until he started making flyers for his band, in which he plays the drums. Now, he is a Graphic Designer, creating for websites, and is starting to work in Motion Graphics as well. Felipe’s favorite font is Trade Gothic.

Buenos Aires, Argentina: Paola Dalman

Paola Dalman founded her own Design Studio, Filez, along with partners Diego and Jonathan Wasergold in 2001. Filez specializes in textile, graphic, and web design. Paola, as Client Relations and Studio Manager, works with clients to offer them the ideal design solution. She is based in Argentina, but gets to travel often for work. She admits being hooked on email, and “cannot survive without internet connection for a day.”

Seattle, USA: Jared Nickerson

Jared Nickerson is a 27 year old freelance illustrator. With well over six years in the industry, Jared runs his own design studio, J3Concepts. Along with running his own studio, Jared is also remote Art Director for European based clothing label laFraise.  He’s also Co-Founder of renowned vector community BloodSweatVector.  Jared specializes in character, editorial, video game and textile design along with art direction & management.

Nairobi, Kenya: Omondi Adudho

Omondi Adudho is an Advertising Art Director at Oglivy East Africa, a photographer and a Web Design fanatic. Born and bred in Kenya, Omondi studied art at Buruburu Institute of Fine Arts and is currently pursing a degree in Communications Advertising. Omondi proudly shoots with a Nikon D90 Camera (Miss Nikita), and dreams of retiring at age 30 and traveling around the world taking photos.

Rome, Italy: Martin Benes

Martin Benes has been a creative since childhood & started on his design path after discovering Photoshop at age 16. Since that day he’s put all his energy into digital art & multimedia. He studied industrial design in college, and began to work at a web design agency in Rome. After that, he founded his own creative agency.  A few years later, he also set up a digital media learning center in Rome and started to  teach Photoshop, web and graphic design.

New York City, USA: Mark Miller

Mark Miller grew up in a small town called Millerburg which contained a Miller’s Pizza, Miller’s Barber Shop, and school mascot “The Millerburg Millers.” He enjoys the challenge of trying to make such a common name memorable. After moving to New York from Indiana, he began Dark Igloo, a Brooklyn based design studio that has clients such as MTV, Sundance, and Bloomingdales. Mark loves to share, and has a hard time relaxing.

Paris, France: Jérémie Fontana

Jérémie is a 30 year old Art Director. Born and raised in the French Alps, he now lives in Paris. He’s been collecting experiences in different advertising agencies, working for brands & as a freelance designer. Jérémie founded a creative collection of designers and photographs called Coworx, and organized dozens of exhibitions and art performances for this collective. Some of his heroes: Spike Lee, Stephen Hawking, the Beastie Boys.

Lisbon, Portugal: Rui Pedro Esteves

Rui Pedro Esteves studied Animation and Artistic Production in Portugal and Romania. In his studies, he developed a passion for illustration and animation, which he now works in, doing work for advertising campaigns, newspapers and websites. His inspiration to illustrate comes from everyday life, drawing in sketch books, music, cinema, and nature. He now lives in Lisbon, surfing, illustrating and making short films for worldwide.

Sydney, Australia: Michael Schepis

Michael Schepis has done commercial design work for many studios throughout Australia. He has a degree in Graphic Design, and recently has done work for The Louis Vuitton Group and Dior. In the early mornings, Michael works on his side project, a website called Visual Kontakt, which is a design blog and community that covers trends, portfolios, architecture inspiration & more creative work. He has a weakness for chocolate & latte’s.

St. Petersberg, Russia: Arseny Vesnin

Just after Arseny was introduced to web design, he started a website called Designcollector in 2003 as a Russian blog reviewing web design. Since then, it’s grown into a place to find inspiration, catch up on recent trends in graphic design, motion-graphics, web design, & photography. For 7 years the popular website has worked as a media partner to various design festivals, and broadcasted Russian design talent around the world.

Bogota, Colombia: Pablo Francisco Arrieta

A trained architect, designer by vocation and reader since childhood, Pablo has been involved in digital design and web development since 1995. Based in his homeland Colombia, he has traveled South America introducing designers to the latest tools of Macromedia (later Adobe) and Wacom as their local presenter A teacher since 1998, Pablo runs his own training facility and is a university professor at two universities in Bogotá.

Guadalajara, Mexico: Mak Gutierrez

Mak Gutierrez is a graphic designer, coder, and founder of the design studios 3Design and Dogma. He got involved in design at age 18 by working at his local newspaper, doing everything from IT to  Video Game writing. When he’s not at the studio, he’s teaching design workshops at a local college. Mak is a social media maniac & a DJ on the side. His mantra? “It’s always about evolution, moving on, learning and being the best you can be.”

Rogier Bouwman: Amsterdam, Netherlands

Rogier Bouwman organized his first event at the early age of 18 years old. The festival grew from 600 to 10,000 visitors in just 4 years. Next to festivals, he’s a professional video artist and is currently developing an Application for the iPhone. He’s been interested in art since an early age and always combined art with music at his festivals. He’s excited to host large art events in Amsterdam and really bring Behance ” to the streets.”

Gintare Karalyte & Candy Willems: London, England

Gintare & Candy’s main motto is: life is not about finding yourself, it is about creating yourself. Gintare, from Lithuania, is a classically trained pianist, photographer & events manager. Candy, from Belgium & Congo, is currently studying a masters degree in Digital Media &  the Creative Economy. Now based in London, Gintare & Candy combined their diverse experiences and founded WHY! Create, a platform for a creative collaboration.
