We’re teaming up with Fotomoto.com to make it easier than ever to sell your work on Behance! With the Sell Image as Print feature, just one click will add Behance images to your Fotomoto store and display a Buy Print button on images for sale.
When visitors to your project click the button, a pop-up window will appear allowing them to buy the print without ever leaving your project.
Behance members are already using this tool to sell their work–check it out in action on these projects:

Want to start selling prints of your work through Fotomoto? Here are step-by-step instructions for getting started!
1) Visit one of your Behance Projects and find the specific work you’d like to sell. Go into edit mode (Click the gear button, and then Edit Project), and to the right of the work you’re listing as for sale, use the dropdown menu to select “Sell Image As Print”
2) When the Sell Image as Print window appears, click Start Selling Now. Fotomoto will automatically create an account on their site for you to sell your work.
3) When it’s finished, you’ll see a message that your image can now be purchased as a print and prompting you to check your email to confirm your new Fotomoto account.
For the next steps, check your email to confirm and enter your Fotomoto account
Once you’re in Fotomoto, you’ll need to set up pricing for your prints.
First, go to the Store tab. Here you’ll see the images you’ve added to Fotomoto through Behance in a collection call “For Sale”.
To set the pricing for each type of print, click the format you want to edit. You can also choose whether to offer prints in certain formats and turn them off if you want.
All the pricing options for varying sizes will come up and you can type in new prices for each. These prices will be set for every image in your collection.
Now you’re set to sell on Fotomoto! When people visit your projects, there will be a small button on images available as prints that people can click to purchase your work. Once you’ve made a sale, if the image on Behance is not of high enough quality, Fotomoto will prompt you with the option to upload a higher resolution version of your image.

1. I live in Brazil, so I would receive my payment? International bank transfer?
2. The images on my site is low resolution. Do I have to upload higher resolution images to Fotomoto?
Thanks.
Very interesting. Definitely worthy. Many thanks
Many thanks, very intesting and definitely worthy.
me interesa, excelente idea.
what about resolution of images? if someone wants a large print then resolution would need to be higher than the ones displayed on the portfolio pages.

I would like to sell with you- I like your way
my problem is only to understand every hinted in English
I shall do my best

Does this work with Instagram users?
@Keith Pickton – Hi Keith, when an order is made, if the image picked up is not of high enough quality, then you will be given the option to upload a high enough quality image. You can also control what image sizes are sold via the Fotomoto Dashboard (login at: my.fotomoto.com).
You can read more about how that here: http://support.fotomoto.com/customer/portal/articles/8558-how-fotomoto-works-on-your-site—no-upload-needed-until-a-customer-orders
@José de Souza 1. We can pay you via Check or Paypall. 2. Yes you are expected to upload high-resolution images only once an order is made, don’t worry we don’t keep them any longer than we have too.
You can drop by our Knowledge base http://support.fotomoto.com or forums http://getsatisfaction.com/fotomoto/ for more information or to drop us a line.
I’m happy to see all these positive comments. @heney, If there is something you feel Fotomoto has done wrong please drop me a line (http://support.fotomoto.com/customer/portal/emails/new), we would love to correct it.
Great!, I think it is a wonderful idea… how are you going to get people to your site so they see the products? Where do I begin?
@Keith and José You upload high-resolution images for an image once you have an order, we don’t keep them longer than we need too.
@Jose We pay with Paypal or Check.
Drop by support.fotomoto.com if you have any questions.
Awesome. I’ll look forward to start selling. What about print resolution? How do I get the payment? Is there any payment for the service?
Will check out and try. btw how wil i recieve my payments? thru paypal?
I am also interested in this service, but ask myself “what about the resolution”? Perhaps you could add a few words to that case.
Thx

I was already using Fotomoto for my website, that’s great to have it here ! Thanks
Yes. A lot of images were not uploaded to be printed. We would obviously have to reload more appropriate images isn’t it?
Yay! I have been waiting for something like this! I’m going to give it a try to see the quality. My photos are a lower quality on Behance than I would normally print, so if there’s a way to upload larger files it will work perfectly!
does this mean , i can post an artwork or a design originally saved in my camera.
and , when put for sale . how would the image be bought.

Hi everyone,
We definitely hear your concerns about image resolution, but Fotomoto has an easy set up for this!
When an order is made, if the image picked up is not of high enough quality, then you will be given the option to upload a high enough quality image.
This is great! Thanks!!!
I am a Designer, Photographer, Illustrator and Painter who has worked professionally for over 30 years. I would like to be able to sell Pmy photos, art photography, illustrations and paintings.
I have worked for Knight-Ridder and Time Warner a s in-house Artist. Spent 5 years working for Warner Bros. Publishing a print division of the Time Warner Music where I designed book covers for major Pop Stars, Movie Soundtrack, Classical & Country music and educational music learning books.
Please send me any more information I may need to get started, not all my photos and artwork are on my website but I would be able to provide print ready photos and artwork immediately for purchase.
Thank you, Olivia Novak

Actually, a great idea. However, there’s more to a good image than resolution. What sort of printer does Fotomoto use, what quality of paper, etc., etc. I mean, is our stuff just being turned into more or less cheap posters like those rolled up ones you find in barrels in certain stores?
And then, price depends on quality, or so it should for a customer. I’d never be interested in my stuff being reduced to posters for $5 or $10 per. (This isn’t like selling records or CDs, I don’t think. Medium counts more than in music, though even then sound quality matters a lot and so medium matters.)
Then there’s copyright, especially if/when someone uploads a higher-quality (resolution in this case) image for printing. I know that if someone just downloads one of my images and tries to print it, they won’t have much luck printing, so low is the resolution set before I post it.
I DO like this idea but think more attention to details is necessary, unless one simply doesn’t care about the quality of the work one sells–no matter from where the sale is made. I.e., I know that my prints will always be of higher quality than those any third party could make. Because I use the correct paper profiles, know the profile of the image, which online can only be sRGB, the absolute worst. But okay, one can upload one with a better profile–Adobe RGB 1998 or Prophoto RGB. Does Fotomoto know the differences, then when printing apply the correct icc for printer in combination with paper?
If not, I’d never be interested in this, even if my work were Tom Kincade’s, or whoever that guy is who paints pictures of quaint cottages in the woods at evening time, or did I paint pictures of puppies and kittens in baskets.
Is this submitting? Can’t tell, sorry if two times or more.
Ouch! What about Cuba? We cannot have Paypal or any online payment form. Is there a way I could receive some cash (in case anyone would like to buy my poor 14mp snapshots)?
Hello, this is great, but I have some doubts. What do the people buy? the print or the file? (I mean they download the file?or receive the print at home?) I really appreciate your answer, because I want to sell my work as prints but not as files, because of the copyright. Also does fotomoto receive a payment from us?, are they in charge of send the prints directly to the address buyer once they pay online (in case they receive the print not the file) ?
Thank you so much. cesar
Hi, there,
I am super interested this feature and want to start using it asap.
My most important question is: can I use this system in my Pro-Site?
I have done my entire website with Pro-Site, which is a Behance platform.
Because of the nature of my work (I am a painter) my website is more important for me then the portfolios in Behance, which I have created in order to built the website.
So, can we have that super cool “buy print” link on my Prosite?
I have to start selling prints for a project I am doing asap, so I would appreciate if you could get back to me about this soon. Thank you very much!
Hi Suzanna – the place to ask this question would be to our support team: energy[at]behance[dot]com. While we check comments, this isn’t a support forum, so pelase get in touch via email!
I’ve never sold my work before. Are there any good guides for pricing?
With questions, please click “help” on Behance to get in touch with our suport team. Thanks!
